twin fan position?

Default twin fan position?

hi im about to take my old single fan off and put twin ones on, is it better to put them in front of the intercooler or between the rad and intercooler???

Directly on the rad is gonna better in regards to cooling the radiator.....if you mount them in front of the intercooler the air's got to pass through the cooler before it gets to the rad, airflow won't be as good.

but depending how thick the fans are, its a pain to get it all to fit and still have a working bonnet

I had no problem fitting the two fans on the radiator.....in fact i've got a good inch or two airgap between the rad and the cooler

I've got mine at the front of the intercooler as there was no space between the rad and cooler but I have noticed that my temp is running a bit high than before.

Fitted to the rad will keep the water cooler,thats the way I'd fit the fans.Regards,Micky

Pmsl....what cos you haven't fitted them that way it ain't possible lol, what an idiot! If you bothered to look at a couple of threads i've put up recently HELPING Mickey in fitting his intercooler/fans the way i have you might have to eat your sarcastic words! Do a search there's plenty of pics showing how i did it.
