hi guys
came back off a weeks holiday and took the car out on friday night to get a take away. car runs fine all the time there but the last set of lights on the way home it stalled (when it was at normal running temp). the revs just seem to drop and then the lights come on and it stalls. all is fine when the car is running cold but then when it gets warm the probs start

took it out sat and the same happened. cleaned out the idle control valve and refitted but nothing changed. any ideas what it could be please guys?

mines done this a few times, first of you sure its not your started motor getting to hot? this will stall the car. either get a heat shield or exhuast wrap and wrap up the down pipe etc.

Im getting my engine re-timed , new camshaft and a new dizzy, after this happened my engine started to mis fire and now it dont start.

how long have you had the car for?

1 week it wasnt doin it wen i got it iv been told it could be an air leek
