Collins -31 actuator
ive seen a few of thease on ebay and just woundering whot they do and are they woth the money.. £60-70??

They allow you to adjust your boost, not something you should be playing with yourself though!
Worth the money if you want to run higher boost yes, if not..... no.

What ever you ask your tuner to set it to..... within the limits of your engine.

do most people have em,, my engines did 14 psi at 176 bhp,,whot gains would i get with this?

You would not see any gains, it just allows your tuner adjust your boost.

yes a lot of people who run higher boost have them, i run 14psi and i have one

i think personally as soon as you start uping boost an uprated actuator is essential especially as the standard one is years old an probs not up to the job (imho).

you need one to run more boost
i have one they look good but that's not rely the reason you wanna buy something this important
u cant beat a proper Garrett one
that what my tuner recommended if the Collins one was no good but its ok

The actuator will be fine mate its was a new geniune -31 so save your cash and get up to NMS

nothing wrong with the collins ones, i got one for £10 with a good t3!!!
looks better than standard and holds the boost well.
