Default standed rs boost
what does a standed rs turbo boost at, my mates got his act turned all the way in and the top it boostes at is ten, any got know if this is normal or not why is there something wrong with the car

10psi is the boost limit on a standard rs it wont go above that. Some "say" the later S2's whent to 12psi.

i thort later rs turbos were limited to 10.5 psi.

Out of the factory it's about 7psi (0.5bar). IIRC Only the 90spec Hearts and Diamonds ECU's had the boost cut raised to 10.5psi.

It seems to vary from person to person some say 11psi others say 12psi

Short anser is if danny_boy699's mates car is anything other than a hearts and diamonds ECU it wont go over 10psi

its not just the hearts&diamonds ecu that goes to 10.5 psi!!! my ecu is not h&d and was doin 10.5 before it was chipped

Maybe just some of the later ones then?!
Doesnt really matter anyway the answer to the question is they ran 7psi (0.5bar) as standard.
