If your running MFI cut the front of your air box and use a k&n flat panel

im curious as to know what evidence you have to support that this is better than cutting off the front?
If you drill the air box you will get less cold air fed to it than if you cut the front out.
or is it the k&n which you believe is the restriction ?

this was tested on my car performance ford a few years ago they have PUBLISHED all the stuff
i believe they tested an
std air box
std air box and panel filter
drilled air box panel filter
drilled air box std filter
induction kit (made less power)

and the drilled air box with std filter came out on top
