seems a stupid arse way of doing it to me, may as well go full cossie including yb if your converting the floor plan to 4x4 Just buy an old saff with a rotten shell and use that for the conversion
Although you could use the RS2000 4x4 setup which I know has been done a couple of times.

The bell housing is the last of his problems, custom engine mounts, exhaust, pipework, to name but a few
Hope your mate has deep pockets, doubt he would get any change out of 10k if he did it on the cheap

You could let you friend know, if he wanted to save a sh1t load of time and money, I have a converted MK4 shell ready to take all the running gear from a cossie....That's if he wanted to do it properly....

basically hes going for a big power zetec turbo but he wants to know if you can fit a 4x4 gearbox to a zetec block. ive already told him go for cossie but he said its been done

I think the reason the cossie has been been done is that it works, I fail to see what your mate will gain other than problems, with having to make engine mounts etc

does anyone mind the white FRST in Fast Ford a few years ago? It was running a 2.1 zvh and 4wd, think it was mondeo running gear in it but it was supposed to be about 250 bhp?
