Default What’s the best suitable Chip for my rs turbo?

Hi everyone,

I’ve owned my rs turbo for almost 6 years now and have now decided to chip my rs but as there’s a wide range of chips out there I’m a bit confused which chip is best suited to the mods that I have on my car, was thinking of buying an Evolution chip from Motorsport Developments for only £145 are they any good?

The mods on my car are =

Kent CVH 34 Camshaft Kit
Group A Ignition Coil & Magnecor 8mm Blue Ignition leads
K&N Air Filter
Bleed Valve
Full samco hoses
Bailey Oil Breather
Pace Uprated Radiator & Twin Core Intercooler
Uprated Bosch 941 Fuel Pump
Full Scorpion Stainless Steel Exhaust System
Stainless Steel Tubular Manifold (From Auto Specialists)

Standard T3 turbo since new if it does decide to blow in the future will uprate to a stage 1 or maybe a stage 2. And runs a standard clutch and gearbox.

Forgot to say had a full major service done last month so the engine is in a1 condition at the moment and I’m not looking to go over 200bhp

Didn’t even know you posted that thread I think you must have posted it a few minutes after me what a coincidence, yes the ecu is still standard and has never been chipped wanna get it done some time this month but just want to get extra advice from people.

I would get it done at motorsport delevopments but it’s over a 3 hour drive which means it’s just too far for me to drive if you don’t mind me asking how much is it costing you?

If I get it set up at 14psi shouldn't my intercooler be ok for that amount of boost as it's always been on 9psi and not had no problems with it
