Default what do these do

I'm trying to clean through the breather pipes in my car and just woundered what these do. the black pot that is attached to the breather pipe coming off the top left handside of the rocker cover and what the black hing is thats inbetween the black pipe and the blue pipe above the phlem chamber tried to blow down it and couldn't. Another question how many breather pipes are there i'm tryin to see if a blocked breather is cousing my oil leak Thanks alot

Correct me if im wrong anyone...

The stumpy pipe on the bottom should go through the breather and back to the other side of the rocker and it looks like you have the one way valve from the brake servo cumming of the rocker instead of the inlet manifold

This is how it should be

If you can't blow down it towards the breather then the one-way-valve is the wrong way round.

However, where is the large pipe with the green clip heading? If it's venting under the car (which it shouldn't really be), then you might aswell do away with that breather altogether and fit a vented catch tank or if you want the el-cheapo way, a vented Coke bottle.

the pipe does go into a vented bottle and it collects a hell of a lot of oil, could this one way valve beening the wrong way be coursing so much oil to be collecting in this bottle?

do the 2 blue hoses go to a boost gauge and dump valve if so they should be on the other outlet on top af the manifold and as for the black breather bin it and get a baily oil seperator

yes they do go to the d/valve and boost gauge, they used to be on the other side. Then it went in to motorsport developments and they said that they were on the wrong side and they moved them to this side? Could this one way vave be causing enough pressure to be making my engine breath hard?
