You need you'r Turbo fettled to plumb some sort of air bypass in there (The ALS unit)

Not an expert on ALS but that's how I thought it worked.

I run anti-lag myself and anyone who says its a 'must' is an fool imho and probably does not run it, there is very very minimal use for it on a fwd road car. I would go so far as saying it even has limited use on a well set up track car.
On some ECU you may even require a baby board.

You need to edit modify the throttle body in the manner shown in this thread also

https://passionford.com/forum/general-car-related-discussion/232954-als-please-explain.html

What people forget to tell you is the car will often idle poorly when you have ALS.

thanks for the info because the reason i asked is i have just got a t35 stage 3 with miram shaft ect, and a l8 ecu with an evo chip with a closed loop , which way would you go to setting it up to try and reduce the anti lag if any.
cheers

if your turbo is lagging massively, I would consider getting a turbo more suited to the car and how you use it and getting the car live mapped.

all depends on the amount of boost you are running I would assume, im running a T3 with a .48 on cossie management, and would not wish to run anything else as I find it has pretty good response, minimal lag with my spec while producing reasonable power.

What sort of power are you looking for and how much boost are you going to run ?

hi mate
with out going into to much detail this is some of the spec 1.9 hardenedcrank,h section rods accrilite race pistons, wire wrung block, lean burn cylinder.cossie managed, l6 ecu ,etc etc so i am looking for 300 bhp,i dont know what its bhp is at the moment till i take it to the rolling road at jam sport, thats why i was going to put the t35 on and the l8 ecu.
i hope you can see where i am coming from.
what do you reckon.
cheers.

You should be able to hit that without to much problem, providing you want to run enough boost through it, I do not personally see the need for the L8 and I do not think you will see the improvements you expect to see to justify the additional money
I run a P8 on my car with coil pack, water injection, air injectors, als which to be honest is a overkill compared to the L6 which would have done everything I needed, only I wanted all the toys
