MK3 waterpump
As i am rebuilding the engine that goes in to my mk3 estate. I found out that my mk3 waterpump has an extra pipe on it. Why is that
And can i do something to use the mk4 pump? I need a new one but don't know if ford still has them.
And can i do something to use the mk4 pump? I need a new one but don't know if ford still has them.

the big outlet goes to the bottom of the rad the smaller one goes to the back of the engine and ts of to th inlet and the heater matrix i have a mk 4 pump on mine just used the mk4 bottom rad hose and blanked the small outlet on the rad where the header tank hose goes hope this helps
