T4 &cossie management
would a low comp steel bottomend be ok with a t4+cossie management on it?whats the pro`s & con`s car will going to be main used on track

cons......might be a tad laggy when tryin to get out the corners quickly!!!
Pro's.....will be bloody fast when it eventually comes on boost lol

think you will be ok with it, as long as you can get used to the lag.
surely if you can judge the lag you can use the accelerator earlier to get the power delivery when you need it?

Not a t4 but i had a t34 on my low comp 1600 and the lag was terrible, but when it boosted it went like fuck

only just finished build new engine mate it`s not even run in yet i thing if i told the missus i was putting an other new engine in it would be curtains lol
at least i can just say i`m buying a new turbo;-]

who built the engine? tell them what you wanna be adoing in the car and they should be able to spec you a turbo to suit

me & my mate built the enging in his garage gus:-] were known has novice motorsport lol

then i would talk a turbo specialist and tell them your engine spec and what you want from the engine and they will spec it
no point putting mix match parts on, you will not get the best from them

Personally, i'd go for a 4x4 ( 60 trim ) cossie turbo with a .63 housing!

t4 1600 track car would be too laggy even when you learn how to drive it coming out of bends the revs woulkd be too low to spool the turbo up do as gus suggests get a turbo properly speced for the engine..
