flat battery

flat battery
the car has been running fine i drove it on sunday no problem then when i went to start it tuesday the battery was flat, i put the jump leads on, and it started and charged up in no time.the battery is a silver top bosh about one and a half years old any ideas

Did you leave anythnig on, sidelights etc?
The battery itself may not be holding charge.
Best think to do is get a multi meter on there and see if there is a drain.

As Moonie said, get a multi meter on it, test for drains and just check the charging.
Depends on what Alarm system you have but if you dont use the car often it could be the alarm thats draining the battery.
If its been totally flat its worth getting the battery on trickle charge over night, the alternator will never fully charge a battery no matter how long you drive for.
