4 to 5 psi boost
iv just fitted a new psi boost gauge from my old bar gauge to my erst s2 and it is showing 4 to 5 psi it should be about 7 shouldn't it? why is my boost so low? im running the standerd amel valve and the car i pritty standerd apart from filter exhaust and d valve.
any idea's?

or a airleak. Just try to find a leak if not, just replace your actuator to check if that helps. Enough people got a std actuator for a little money..
Is the problem there since you have the dv? else it could be that the dv is blowing off while you're trying to build up pressure???

iv had a dumpvalve on it since iv had the car so i dont know. i did try a 31 but that was to much for the car to cope with. i have got a spare turbo and actuator but iv been waiting to have it back off my mate for months coz he had it to drill some snapped bolts out off it for me the lazy cunt. i will be on to it tomorrow

good. must click when turn ignition on. you will hear click in car.
In my opinion , problem must be actuator or dump valve. actuator you can test by pulling put hose from it and suck air out and see if actuator holding vaacum about 30 sec. test rquipment- mouth
best test for dump valve is to take it out and try run without thm. just make sure there is no air leaks.
