is it hard to find a quiet s2 now days cos mine is a little bit tappety.

can be because old/wrong oil or worn tappets or cam. but every cvh which I saw make noises

I am not sure but I think best gradation is 10W40, check on forum. But cvh engines are usually little noisey

5/40 will be fine. Did you change the tappets aswell as the cam?? if you didnt thats why it's still making the tapping noise Your ment to change both at the same time as they ware together

make sure your tappets are the right size. Some cvh heads were machined with 0.25 oversize followers, like mine No one sells these anymore and I didnt know until Karl did some work on it. The followers that came out of mine, courtesy of a head rebuild from Swillington Auto Care, were standard size and thus sounded noisy as hell. Its stamped somewhere on the head if this is the case.

I rememmber when I have problems with starter motor... motor cooked... so I try push car few times but he doesnt turn on...so next day I finally turn it on BUT I have veery loud noise from engine. I was sure that cambelt snapped and kick valves. but didnt.

Probably because while I was trying to start car, all oil from cam and followers going down. So then, when I started car, it was soo loud, maybe next 5 minutes.
