dont know if any of you have used this but we have been using it
for a while at the garage i work at, its called ametech and basically
you just pour it in engine when doing an oil change.
it isnt your typical oil additive that sludges up everything and tries
to hide knocking or rattling sounds, this stuff actually repairs whatever
is makng the noise. sounds hard to believe but it really does work.
it contains copper,silver and lead particles which coat bearings etc.
im not making anything from advertising it and i have nothing to do
with the seller, i just thought i would let you know about it as just
recently i used some in the other halfs motor and its made a hell of
a difference

lol, i know where your coming from mate, i would too on my rs
but im going to add some on every oil change.
ive seen the results from using this stuff and its propper good stuff.
v6 st24 mondeo bottom end shells = a lot of agro and money.
we put this stuff in and the noise has completely gone.
im not suggesting anyone use this in the hope of restoring
a knackered engine but from what i can tell it could definately
keep it going a bit longer.

i find it hard to believe that there is anything in existence that would remove all knocks and rattles from a ford!!!!!
