Default f****d again

av just replaced the turbo on me car.
took the car out was still a bit smokey but that has cleared now.
av set the boost to 0.8bar (shit meself when it shot off the 1.5bar scale!)

av came back in and checked under the bonnet to make sure no leaks etc and noticed the oil cap had popped up, so a pushed it back down just thinking a hadnt put it on properly when a topd the oil up but when av took it back out again and came back the same has happened again.

the car starts and idles fine but av noticed once av give it a bit stick then come to stop at a junction it stalls(maybe the cap is coming up when i set it away?)

av never had this happen before, it has a chrome rocker cover which was put on the same time as the turbo is the chrome too "slippy" (if that makes sense) meaing do i need to make something that would hold better in side the cap.

the engine spec is

radtec front mount
pace rad
standard bottom end
standard head
standard turbo
some random chip!
couple of sillicone hoses(av checked that all the pipes are connected properly)
ss exhaust
k 'n' n

any help appreciated

cheers

the rubber seal on the inside of the cap wears after a while so it doesnt fit right, buy a new one mate you will be suprised how tight a fit they are, bought one for the engine im rebuilding and can hardly get the thing off!
hth cheers mark.

yeah a was thinking about the an uprated oil breather system when funds would permit.

cant be arsed to go back out and clean the system now but all do that tomorra and report back.

the cap is a metal 'rs' type so maybe that is the problem and it does appear to come off quite easily
