Anybody no were i can get a dog box for a s2, allready got a quaif gearkit but it is still not strong enuf.

but what kind of engine you running for a quaife box to not be strong enuff?

still running 1600 cvh running about 300bhp, Used as a race car after about 3 or 4 races the syncros fuck up and it sticks in gear, have spoke to cts as they built the box i have got and they cannot help.

car looked to be going well midway throu th erace on sunday , made a few places

it might be worth trying the mtx75 as i've been told the standard box can cope with your power and should help to get the power down better

Quaife 'box is rated to 190bhp AFAIK.

I have been looking at MTX, but I have had a look at the actual gears and they don't look any better than what I have now.

i know of a place you could send the gears to get shot peaned & polished for £60
