s1 turbo fuel pump priming problem?

Default s1 turbo fuel pump priming problem?

when i turn ignition on fuel pump primes as it should, then when i turn wipers on it primes again and also when i turn lights on, although does not do it with lights everytime, that is without the engine running, have also changed the wiring loom, fuel pump, fuel pump relay, please help cheeRS

A common thing on the S1's, they have a different relay to all the other MFI cars, i think they are just a bit sensitive to voltage spikes, nothing to worry about

Mine re primes when you put the side lights on. If it's running ok just ignore it. If you start to try and solve it, you could open a can of worms

do have other problems too, took it to be set up and the guy said theres no power goin to the engine sensors wot eva he means by that

Thats a very vague summary of problems, was this anywhere known to the tuning business, or a back street garage?

was a garage that was recomended, not sure that he knew wot was wrong with it, got the impression he couldn't be bothered to find out wot was wrong

That sounds like a matching excuse for someone that doesn't know/cant be bothered.

Care to mention any names or not?

If you can you want to get it to one of the tuners on here like Stu/Christian/Norris etc, no bullshit that way

took my series two to well lane they sorted that no probs, runs a nice 170 bhp, think we might take the s1 there
