So, if you have a cossie 3 bolt housing, is this a straight swap? Is the flange for the housing not different on the 200sx? What about the downpipe - does this line up in the same place, or is the turbo further forward/back.

Just he didnt want the Jamsport manifold, Which is yours... Obviously he didnt know
PS:
Are you making the 'over the gearbox' manifolds now for Jamsport too? Think Stuart has one? Or was that a one off?
Or just the normal one, As seen on MK's, Tom Scarlett's etc...

from what i understand you will have too make a custom downpipe to bolt up too the 3 bolt cosworth turbo unit

would the 200sx manifold pipes line up with the cvh head where the headers need welding on to them or does the tubes need moved/extended etc? good thread this

Its a wicked idea but not as simple as first thought.
But if you could make them for 150-200 pounds then I think it would be well worth the effort.
The concept is easy I just think there will be a lot of try and error with getting the down pipe adapted to fit on to cosworth housing.
This is my conclusion of making one: -
Make a flange to the same size of a CVH head (copy a gasket)
Cut the old head flange off the 200sx
Weld the pipes to the new flange
Fit a Cosworth 3 bolt exhaust housing to the t34/t3
Then adapted the down pipe.
We need to confirm what turbo flange the 200sx has either a T25 or a T3
And how easy it is to change the standard down pipe.
Crazy cage please correct me where im wrong because I think you could be on to something here.
500 / 1100 quid is stupid money I no p/d work is second to none but on an RST its a joke.

mine but with external waste gate pipe underneath
u can get the down pipes from jamsport in 2.5 inch or in 3inch
2.5inch down pipe on the left, just needs weldin or clamping to the original exhaust

call me stupid but why not just use a t28 turbo with the manifold then all you have too do is make a flange too fit the cvh head just seems a bit easier
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB..._promot_widget
works out too about 500quid for manifold and a brand new ball bearing turbo

lets put it this way take a cossie engine with a 2 wd manifold which in reality is a cast tubular design, then take the same engine with a 4x4 manifold which is just a cast design manifold, the 4x4 1 is loads better and has less lag than the other unless you want 500 plus bhp when yes a tubular 1 of correct design will be better but will cause lots more lag.
I would like to see a fast car with a tubular manifold that works correctly the only 1 i have seen so far is nicks car from PF. and IMO the cost is way to high for the benifits.
