Helped me slightly on my last S2, but as said was constantly being gestured at/pulled over for em...

prefer subtle bumper mods personally for cooling

Ive herd they are one of the main causes of you're bonnet flying up if you dont adjust the catch properly . Plus imo they look pants and make it look as if you've had a front end shunt

i've got them on mine and they do help with cooling by relasing heat.
i was not a fan of them to begin with but they grew on me
the "oi your bonnets open!!" remarks just make me laugh

pain in the arse at the strip as you have the marshalls trying to close your bonnet!!!

works wonders - have you ever lifted your bonnet after a hard run and felt the heat the builds up inside?

also gets colder air to your filter which i have behind the headlight

i simply used three pieces of 20mm square tube , the whole bonnet is now lifted

mate

do not have pics on this pc , only at work i think

mail me at stevenb@denorco.com and ill see if i have any on my work pc , im back at work on Monday

i simply cut 2 pieces same length as the brackets and used
longer m6 bolts

the same for the catch , except you need to make another hole on the top of the 20mm square tube where the catch mounts to the bonnet , youll see what i mean when you take it off

hope this helps

Also got them on mine and they most definately help with cooling. Also got twin fans sitting infront of the intercooler with the rad behind and temp guage never goes above halfway even sitting in traffic

They also look the nuts - just says power !!

Never had any bonnet problems - at the end of the day as long as your bonnet release is adjusted correctly you should have no problem.

The comments about my bonnet being open are hilarious.

But does get on your nerves a bit after a while but you learn to ignore it
