Default WHAT IS THE GREEN RELAY FOR UNDER THE DASH OF A S2

hi ive taken a relay out of my s2 loom normally located under the dash its a green one as i got the loom from a scrapped turbo rain water has restroyed the relay inside i dont know what its for can any one help me with this please?

Pretty sure thats for the ABS light. Does your car have ABS?

Might not be then. I always get the 2 mixed up. Is there a blue one up there with no relay in it?

the blue has got a relay on it and the same relay on my 3i loom and 3i didnt have abs so the green must be abs

the rst i got the loom from wel the rst van that had abs or the rst it was taken from so must be for abs

Im pretty sure

The wires in the ABS plug are all very thin and are mostly brown and brown with coloured traces

Just a quickie, you say this relay is for the ABS light, my ABS light comes on with the handbrake light but goes out once the handbrake is released, could this be a dodgy relay??

Pretty sure thats how they work on these!

If you were to remove the relay the bulb wouldnt work, thats how MOT testers know if the ABS is functional or not.

Kool, happens on one of my mates RST's but not on another mates one, but come to think of it, I dont think it comes on at all on that one!!!

yh brown thin wires and traces and joins with the yellow connector in the bay !!! so im sorted cheers dude
