Default bit of help needed

ok i recently decided to remove the abs from my s2, as the car had a underbody resto through the winter there is no breaklines anywhere on the car, now i have got full braidied break lines which im going to be using, but on the rear of the car i dont have the compensators ( circled in pic ) now do i still need to have these or can i just take the braided hose to rear calipers ???? any help will be appriciated

You can run the pipes straight to the calipers but you MUST have fixed rate compensators under the bonnet!!!!!!

so basically it would be just as easy to have them in there original brackets on the rear

No because they are pants And also make bleeding the brakes a little harder.

Look on any NON ABS car and you will find a set of the in-line compensators

All RS's had it (not that you find them down the scrappy anyway ), but any model below a RS came with or without as an optional, you will find the majority of XR3i's don't have ABS, and i've never seen anything less than a 3i with ABS although it was available as an option for all models

They're located on the drivers side inner wing

I have used the ones of a ka on mine and mounted them inline on the braket on the rear chassis rail
