Is this forum hard work or not, everyone just semms to argue. Personally i would back Jano, coz lets be honest he does it every day of the week and if he didn't get the results no one would use him, i would definatly let him loose on my car

I am def up for a day out in the car somewhere to see how it compares. There is no point in thinking you have a quick car if you get blowen into the weeeds by a XR3.

how is the spool up time on your turbo, I cant see your car being a fast ź car with that turbo on a 1600cvh you must loose a lot of time between gear changes, I can see it being good for top speed!! I am running a roller bearing turbo which nearly twice the size of my old t34 0.63 its no where near as laggy, well the lag is minimal in comparison, but there is still an element of lag. But a 1600 cvh must be all or nothing or is it? If you where running nitrous then the turbo size would not be an issue or running a final drive higher then 3.82.
This is a general question I am just wondering what the car is like to drive. the car will produce the power but are the Components right for the 1/4 which you are really into.

on the t34 iwasnt on boost till 4.2k i had loads of lag between changes ,2nd to 3rd was really bad , i changed to the gt30 and tubular manifold and in 5th gear im on boost at 2.8k and makin 2bar+ at 3.8k theres fuck all lag between changes. the turbo is not an off the shelf item its was made to my cars spec using a .48 cossie back housing,it is so much better than the t34, i am on a different final drive

but the turbo not being an off the shelf item explains it a little, on my old 2.1zvh the t34 came on boost at 3200rpm and i lost so much time between gear changes.so you have the Revability of a 1600cvh with the big power low lag Characteristics of the roller bearing
.i love my roller bearing one of the best mods i have done. could do with changing my final drive to match where my engine produces peak power.

Well while i was at Brands Hatch thrashing my concourse S1 round the track you lot were talking shite and posting useless waffle as normal..

im also using a budget build... standard bottom end etc and tho its off road at this second will b bk by next weekend...
ive raced alot of proclaimed powerful cars and cum up trumpos with quite alot of them or gave a gd enuff race that im happy with loosin...

Mate not digging him at all where did you get that from him just dosent seem interested in coming cos he has already timed his car, I have a lot of respect as should most people but why moan about something when its just a laugh jano has build so good cars but i would like to see them in action with my own eyes, would`ht you?
Get everyone major rs tuner and have a good day at the pod just escort rs turbo`s also people who fancy a go to see how far they are of for major tuned cars? Mate not having a dig, but he should come down, do his bit and people cant say anything then can he?

ive been in his car and alot of the cars built by him... and raced alot of other RS's in my own... sum boastin big power and beat them...
at the end of the day... if we all go to a pod meet we will see more...
but speakin for myself and i think jano wud agree... even cumin a close second to stuarts car in janos XR is a great credit as he's spec isnt as high as stuarts motor...
i have great respect for the 300bhp+ boys... and admire them doin it from a 1.6!!!
