AS A BONUS THE XR3 DOES PUT DOWN GOOD TIMES, BUT IT WAS NOT MENT TO BE USED FOR THAT!
ITS A STD 1600 BOTTOM END WITH NOTHING TO PROVE OTHER THAN YOU LOT SPEND LOADS OF MONEY AND THE CAR STILL KEEPS UP IF NOT GO ROUND YOU WITH NEXT TO NOTHING SPENT ON HER COMPARED TO YOUR BUILDS..
THE GEARBOX COST Ł40 FROM A SCRAPPER, THE ENGINE WAS ALREADY 60K OLD.
NOW IF YOU WANNA RACE, ILL SEE YOU AT BRAND HATCH TOMORROW

I didnt say i would or wouldnt.
What i said was that my car is not ment for crap straight line racing.
If i wanted to do that i would have a V8 twin turbo or with a supercharger etc..
Like i said bring the "van" to brands and lets see how well it can get round corners.
Or even your own car... as its soooooo fast and can beat anything on the road.. Lets see what it can do on track.

Yes, my clutch gave up after the 2nd session..
Reason:- Has not been changed since last year after bedford track day. Since then i have done 4 track sessions at brands open pit lane, silverstone x2, Donny x1, york runway, croft, brunters x2 killing it on launches etc.. to name just a few..... Then has been used on the road for the last 3 months having testing and mapping done!
The clutch setp which i use and eveyone said is shite and wouldnt work has done more of it fair share in getting mashed...

No the way i get bussiness is by being honest and telling poeple how it is!
Ask the customers yourself instead of talking out of your rear end.
I never slag off companys!
Just work that has been done to a car if it is wrong!
I dont care who done it or why how ect... all i know is that its wrong and will need sorting to be 100%
If the company/s who made the mistakes takes it upon them selfs to feel as if i have been slagging them off, then thats down to their shite work!
Not me telling people how shite it really is..
Want me to show a few pics of cars that have come to me and parts that i have HAD to remove cos its wrong!
No, didnt think so as there is no need to go down them roads

thanks guys lots of interesting reads, Jano think you bite abit easy the guy is just asking for a good day of racing whether its straight or a track why do we all do this work to our cars if we dont use them, why build a race car and dont test its abilities at everything? we all build our cars and big them up but how can we big them up if we dont take on the oppsition?
Jano arent you abit interested in seeing how good your work really is?
Plus if i wanted a race car i want one that will get a good pod time so it will get of the lights quicker then everyone else,cos isnt that how races sart?
Or why build a track car just to crawl round the track?

In answer to them:-
My car (XR3 & S1) have been to brunters many times and proved what can be done with a std engine. They have also been to santapod and proved them selfs there. They have been on most tracks in the uk and proved them selfs there. All from a std engine and a concourse car..
The S1 has stats from Brunters (which is shite for traction anyway as its not even tarmac ) Timed by Fast ford.
The XR3 has stats from Brunters (again shit tarmac) timed by PF and Also Fast Ford few weeks ago. (Feature will be out soon)
We DO use them!
We have tested them at everything. Racing against a car with bigger CC more power or better traction etc..
My friend, myself and the owners of the cars i have tested them on a regular basis. Why not have a look at what they say.

However both my cars have been tested against top spec cars and engines at various places over the years. If it has not been tested against a certain car you have in mind. You can make a good comparison from another car with the similar spec. To date there is not many that one of us have not raced. If we win or lose has nothing to do with it.
We go by the fact that the faster car has spent 4x what you have and your only X amount slower.
THATS WHAT WE CALL VALUE FOR MONEY.
If anyone of us spent as much money as some people on here have on engines and turbo's etc.. Anyone of us could go as fast. The point is we havent and still are almost as quick.
Please understand the point i am trying to make.
I am not putting down faster cars or slaging them off. As thats what gives us the motavation to beat them..
