Anyone know this S1
Hi all,I'm new to all this and i'm hoping for a little bit of info if possible,i seen this S1 turbo for sale in the Birmingham area and it looks very good,i just wondered if any one on here knows this car.The reg as follows C55FOV

Hello mate
I was VERY interested in this Series 1 a few weeks ago..........that was until i did a HPi report on it.
The milage on it is false, In 1996 it had covered 128,000 mile , since then it has dropped
I spoke to the guy about it and after going through the MOT's on the phone it showed that the milage is not correct. It doesnt tally up on the MOt's
Also it didnt have any MOT at the time i was looking aswell.
I still have the HPi report here for that car

Thanks for that mate,i spoke to the guy tonight and asked if there was anything to back the mileage up,he told me there was nothing !! He did also say he wasn't sure if the mileage was accurate 
He's still asking for £3500 although it does have a years ticket

The thing with the car is, it does look a nice example and i was VERY interested in it, and it was only 20 minutes away from me aswell but i still didnt bother looking at it.
BUT
I thought about it for a while, and for the money that he wants i dont think it is worth it, as when you come to sell it.....someone else is going to do ALL the same checks and come back with the same findings...which will make it hard to sell, as the bloke has found out.
I rang up about it 6 weeks ago...the guy told me that someone had left a deposit on it but never came back.....i bet he found out the same as me.

Yep,i agree with you,it wouldn't be so bad if the price reflected the mileage discrepency !!!!!
Well i now have 1 more i might go down and look at,it's another S1 down Heathrow way,reg as follows C252TDP,anyone know anything about this car
