loose steering

damn driving my rs is a sod teh steering is loose as fook but im unsure if its teh cars fault as i drive a brand new car for 1500 miles a week

does seem excessive tho whats the weak link to making the steering way ott?

it needs a good few turns just to go round a simple corner but i cant see what could be wrong as a racks ratio is a racks ratio aint it

count how many turns from lock to lock.

u should really have 3.75 turn rack - urs could be the 4.5 one.

TO be honest, it's not great either way - the steering is my biggest complaint on RST.

New cars are a lot more precise and responise than a primitive 16-22 year old Ford Escort!!!

I haven't driven my run around Orion for about 2 months but took it round the block the other day and it felt awful, ive been driving an 05 plate Clio around in the meantime......just the way they are :(
