Default Offset for 17's??

What offset have people who have 17's on there s2?? lowered 25mm
Looking for the best 1 really?

I say between 35mm and 38mm.

If you go for 35mm, you might find that they touch the rear arches, but 38mm might touch the front inner arch.

I had 35mm on mine without too much bother.

Better still, go for 16's, they drive SOOOO much better on them.

Mine are ET40. They only ever touched on the rear arches when cornering hard, but I have rear discs so the wheels are pushed out a couple more mm.

Cheers lads, def gona to go for 17's and will ave a rear disc's aswell, my mate has a set wiv et35 i try them, got a while before the car comes out anyway!!

On ET35 i think you will find they rub when you have people in the back or hit bad bumps, if you can try a set though thats ideal

I won't really have people in the back, its not my everyday car, just for sunny weekends!!!

The best way you could ever do it if you have the time is to quickly pop the rear springs out, put the wheels on and lower it down, then you can see where the tyres are going to rub without damaging anything!
