Oil Pump Removal
Just been removing everthing ready to change Oil Pump, only to find there is not enough space between the end of the crankshaft and the inner wing to remove it. Please tell me there is a way or is it an engine out job. I'm sure I read somewhere that changing the Oil Pump can be done with the engine still in

pump
dont undo the mount there is no need, just:
lower the car on the road wheels then whilst 1 person jurks the engine the oposite way and another pulls on the pump u will get it out. i have done it a couple of times believe me it is the easiest way. you must have the car on the ground or you just cant get the engine to move at all.
