a standard NEW T3 will do 15-17 psi for quite a while..no probs...

however one thats done 60k or so miles on std boost (8 psi) if you turn that up to 15 psi it wont last too long,

imo, a T3 should have a 360 degree thrust bearing fitted instead of the std 270 degree and then it will do alsorts of silly boost for some time at least

it will not fail it will just choke ur exhaust hosueing thats y people go for 48 and 63 so it can flow better std t3 will be good for 220bhp but its all about what other mods u got that helps ur turbo work better

Doesn't work like that. The harder u work it, the shorter it's life - there aren't definite figures.

Cheers people I was thinkin of exchanging my fcuked T3 for a recon'd one but then i noticed that it had a 150bhp power figure next to it so i thought that probably ment it should'nt be used if you are runnin more than 150bhp. Would it be worth gettin the stage 2 T3??? that had a 200bhp figure next to it. All this turbo talk is confusing me... i have'nt got much knowledge on this subject, im sure it shows!!!

as Alex zvh cabrio says its not just the turbo that makes the power its other mods that make the air flow (boost) alot easier to enter the engine ei ported head = same power on less boost a good head & cam could give you upto 50 bhp even without touching the boost

i have a t3 hybrid with a 360 degree thrust bearing , stg 3 head large grs ic low comp pistons and on cozzy management , set up by NMS currently @ 18 psi , boosting perfectly well and holding , the tuner told me that its been set up with reliability in mind not balls out power , and it pulls hard right up to 7 k [ cvh 35 cam ]

my last h reg was showing 220 bhp on power engineerings rolling road and this car makes the old one feel slow !

as said it totally depends on the rest of the engine set up ,but mines fine

m8 u should know y

a std turbo exhaust housing will find it hard to flow at 220 let alone 260bhp that’s y people go for 48 and 63 so it can flow better and be less restrictive.

Newton's second law of motion explains how an object will change velocity if it is pushed or pulled upon.

Firstly, this law states that if you do place a force on an object, it will accelerate, i.e., change its velocity, and it will change its velocity in the direction of the force.

Secondly, this acceleration is directly proportional to the force. For example, if you are pushing on an object, causing it to accelerate, and then you push, say, three times harder, the acceleration will be three times greater.

Thirdly, this acceleration is inversely proportional to the mass of the object. For example, if you are pushing equally on two objects, and one of the objects has five times more mass than the other, it will accelerate at one fifth the acceleration of the other.

Conclusive proof I think kiddies that MORE POWER = MORE ACCELERATION/ie quicker times.

ALSO
MR Going is a genius so of course his products are quicker than most of his so called competitors.
