Default Rs sunroof

Can you take just the sunroof out or do you have to take it out complete?? (with the runners as well )

No you can remove just the glass with its frame

Yeh open it up tilt ways and theres 3 screws either side undo them and it should pop straight out...

Default s1 sunroof

my sunroof is stuck slightly open and wont wind either way, any ideas on how i'd get that out with the runners? i do have a spare complete sunroof.

Hammer?

U need to get it up to do it, its the only way really. With the warm weather now u may just ge able to get it to budge. U shouldnt need to change it the runners just need to be kept lubricated otherwise they do go stiff

Default s1 sunroofs

i think i may have to break the glass, was hopin not to but it seems i have no choice, i noticed the plastic shield lifts up an the copper bar bulges out from underneath! i think the technical term for it is f****d.
