1.9 tall block build - it runs!

Canada1 do you have links to some of the parts you've been using? I got a 1984 EXP turbo this summer and I'm getting another 1.6 cvh turbo engine this weekend, I want to build one or both up similar the way you are. I also have a 1.9 EFI HO engine that I can use for it but I'm hoping to save the 1.9 for my 1982 EXP convertible so I can built-up a naturally aspirated CVH.
Can you also make a list of all your parts and what serial numbers your heads have? I have a few heads and I'm not sure which ones are best for turbo or NA applications....

Still working on this Escort project.
Took the car out for a test last fall before winter hit.
Boost starts at 3200 rpm in second gear - builds boost very quickly after that.
Finishing up the interior of the car. New dashpad installed looks very decent.
Next is windshield replacement as well as some driver door repairs.
Found some 1986 Escort GT wheels for $40.00 each. I will be re-finishing them and adding 195 55 R15 tires.

Almost ready to get back on the road.
205 55R15 Yokohama Advan Fleva V701 tires.
Look half decent on the 6" wide rim.

Car is now insured.
Finally starting to fine tune the fuel tables.
Waste gate allows 10 psi boost - will fit manual boost controller for 15 psi.
When boost comes on (@10psi) unbelievable.
Second gear the 205 tires lose grip. Wasn't expecting this.
So far very pleased. A little loud as only 3" downpipe and no muffler/exhaust yet.
15 psi should be a very exciting ride.

Love your beautiful red RS turbo as well.
Made an adjustment with the waste gate actuator rod length. Supposed to have an 034 actuator.
Had 10 psi boost. Looks like I did not have the actuator preloaded correctly. Adjusted for 3mm preload (was around 1.5mm)
Just getting familiar with the Haltech data logging.
Will log RPM, MAP, Inj pulse width, Ign timing and wideband O2 sensor.
