If you wish to fit another then it goes in the top rad hose next to the one you already have. Take the hose from the header tank that goes to the thermostat housing/ swirl pot and put it on to your new swirl pot and block the original one off.

cheers for your help it was just that i got a new header tank from a+s and it has three out lets on it they say thats for running the swirll pot maybe just blank the third hole and send it back :top:

if youve got a shiney new header tank with 2 small out lets at the top, this is for running the standard swirl pot (part of the themostat housing and an external one at the same time

if its got 3 outlets isn't that an oil separater? :?

if so the top two outlets go to the pipes leading out of the rocker cover, and the 3rd to the pipe from the back of the block.
