Hi everybody, I am a liittle bit inactiive recently because I don't have internet access where I am but I am coming back soon and I need to fix my car. One of the things I'll be buuing is new coil-over suspention, but need to select spring-rates. So I need you to help me choose.
It is for fully-trimmmed road car. (small turbo Escos), used on road and track in VERY VERY bad Polish tarmac conditions - potholes, uneven surfaces everywhere. So I'd like recomenndations in this thread if you are so kind it will help me out make up my mind. Thx guys!

hi buddy, do you have to have coil overs? in my previous experiences with these if you're not driving on super smooth surfaces then they really are too much for the road, the roads where i live are badly pottholed etc and it was a complete nightmare with the coilovers. I would choose koni shocks up front and bilsteins at the rear with some eibach lowering springs. just my opinion matey

I've been through this couple of times already here. Dumping rates don't differ with threaded schock absober body or with fixed platform. The problem with lowering springs is that I cannot know how high or loww it's going to be and also I cannot change it for winter when I keep destroying the underbody with ice pieces and hard snow hitting it. Also fixed shocks (I've been using Bilsteins so far) or far too weak for Polish roads, I keep bending Bilstein shock bodies. I don't care about ride-quality only handling.
With adjustable coil-over damping inserts I can get needed damping rates most probably but the problem is to choose correct spring rates. I am thinking about quiite soft setup 250/175 - 250/200 but I don't know what front to rear proportions schhould be there and what schould work. I thhought people who have those or mmaybe sell them like Mike R can express opinions. Damn how I hate to be wondering in the dark.
