Gap between the top of the tyre and my koni's

Gap between the top of the tyre and my koni's
How big should this gap be to be safe, at the mo it is about 4mm, is this too small, any help would be appreciated

surely the gap would only matter if you use the car on the road No ? rubbing is fine because it never actually leaves the garage sunday anti freeze and K&N please feel free to fit and maybe wash n polish I will be home about 5

Both my escorts have only ever had about 4mm gap between tyre and shock base.
imo it will be fine like that, as long as you dont bend one of the koni's like i did.
or failing that, fit coilovers and do away with the worry!!
