Default running probs again

the montes been running fine for the last 250 miles ,then tonight i was just going along at 30mph and it started to lose power again,just like before started to run rough /lumpy, i managed to keep it going and headed for home,a mile later it died on me,started up again but running really rough,managed to limp home another mile and took leads off one by one but it still ran the same[even with 2 leads off!]so doesnt seem ignition problem,any ideas before i defect?

Or regulator or blocked filter but it definitly sounds like a fuel prob!
Could you manage to fit a manometer on your fuel system?
Maybe by safety you could also check compressions and run an autodiag.

I'll back up damo, sounds exactly the same as mine had, if you disturb the plugs you shoudl here the engine note change back. - Did you get a new TPS ??

Not being funny but when my boost hose was hanging off the turbo mine fucked up exactly like that, check all the small dopey things like that.

checked everything i can think of,ive got another coolant sensor somewhere so ill swap that over as well,as it starts and runs fine again at the moment?ryan,how you doing with the aircon?

syptoms sound exactly the same as when my crank sensor started packing up would be fine for ages then all of a sudden drove like crap, tested loads of stuff even chip, turned out it was a dodgey crank sensor after all of that

is there a way of testing the crank sensor? other than just renewing it?it'd be nice if it was something simple like that

Dont think they are expensive? fairly straight forward item to replace too, VERY common fault

just had a look,Ł18 at amber,Ł29 at pj Ł27 from woodfords,think amber will be getting a call

Just be sure to gap it properly between CPS and pulley when you fit new one
