Wanted: fuel rail

Needed urgently.
Esc Cos fuel rail for use with standard pressure regulator with -6 fittings and a 1/8" take off for my fuelpressure sender.

DaveEscos 24-07-2005 10:56 PM

I have my one for sale

2 -6 fittings each end and a take off for a fuel pressure gauge..

with pressure reg £160

without £100

off a grp A car so the tits!

THE RADMAN 25-07-2005 06:36 AM

use you existing rail speedy, you only need to weld on the -6 bosses and a suitable one for your sender :top:

Speedy G. 25-07-2005 06:58 AM

@DaveEscos --> I do not need the pressure reg as I can still use my old one. Besides, I thought that you weren't happy with the welds on your rail. Got any pictures of it?

@THE RADMAN --> My original rail had -6 fittings on it and we welded a 1/8" one on for the sender but the biggest problem is now that this boss is not good any more. The threads inside are gone and the welding itself was not done to a very good standard.

Besides, nobody can tell me with which thing to weld the rail so I'm just looking for a rail with -6 fittings on now as I've found a Goodridge part with -6 fittings and a 1/8" takeoff for the sender.

i think your suppose to braze or silver solder your fittings on 2 fuel rail m8

Speedy G. 25-07-2005 06:54 PM

That's the biggest problem m8.
It's already been done and not good enough.

That's why I need another rail with the -6 fittings.

DaveEscos 25-07-2005 07:46 PM

i wasnt happy

then the rail bent when my engine mount went

so i bought a grp a rail from a grp a car!

Speedy G. 25-07-2005 09:07 PM
