My dials have started playing up!

Sometimes when I put me lights on my dials aint as bright as they should be! Last night they were dim from startup on a 10min trip, about 3 hours later I tested them, and guess wot?

They were ok!
During the test only 5 mins later they just switched back to dim

So, I would say the dial lights work ok it must be something else?

All other lights are working fine

anyone got any ideas??

Mine did the very same... But thanx to Damo V replaced the 5v invertor behind the clocks and added new dials thanx to Speedy G

yeah mine are like that above, me pics were also done on a phone! dunno why they are two different colours, the dials all look like the first pic!!

damn Fords! anyone got a spare invertor knocking around they could sell me? Prefer brand new if poss

farnell electronic do do an equivilent one that can be soldered in place for about 30 quid

I dont know if they're fully compatible but you can buy EL inverters (for their ruudy range of EL stuff) for a fiver.
