truth is I never thought I be able to afford one,at 25 years old a good one would still set you back £20/30k money I just didn’t have. Till one day I saw one £14k! It wasn’t in the best of shape and to be honest I was a bit of a fool to buy it! But at the time I didn’t care I just had to have one! I’m now 39 and still have the same car,thought about selling it a few times,but after popping out for a drive I quickly chance my mind!
The car was never going to be that perfect example from the hard life it had before coming to me.so over the years I spend a little here and a little there,then one day I sat down and added it all up....£45K 😳 not including the £14k the car cost. It’s had pretty much everything you can think of done to it and although under the shine it’s still that same car with a far from prefect past the cash has been spent right,at 500bhp it’s probably one of the most reliable ‘messed with’ cossies youll find! All that said just out of interest with the price of a standard one going though the roof how far behind do you feel the worked on ones have fell? I’ve always said I’d be happy getting the 14k back if e we I sold it,but recently there was a CAT D one that sold for £37k I’m not looking to sell,it’s just a thought that crossed my mind with so many people keep asking me...what’s your worth now.

I doubt you'd lose money on it even with issues in the past. Just keep it and enjoy it as it sounds like you still enjoy driving it.
