If those are the correct leads then they will only go in the correct holes, they will be keyed to fit in only the correct way

I suspect the plug with 2 leads goes in the head unit and the one of each to the other, my guess is the othe goes I the hole on the unit on the right. You will need the din plug to power it all, I cannot see that in any of the pics

I know everyone wants originality but I would put a modern one in there and if you feel you need to show you have the orig I would have it made up as a display in the boot for shows...but I am the sort to rip it all out.

I think there should be an extra link lead too after googling some images. It also looks like the big turbo and small turbo had wire differences??? Are you certain both leads and stereo came from the same car?

The cable with the red on was another lead I've since took out? (Link lead?) of some kind, the only wires coming out of the car are the yellow block & aerial
I'm guessing the yellow block is power-speakers etc, as for the others some fit & some don't?? I either think I've got 1 wrong stereo or a missing lead??

Def some missing
I can see the aerial lead but where is that coming from, should be in the holes.
Plus, in the in car pic there is a lead covered in fluffy stuff going out of pic, what is on that end?

Too many posts.. I need a life!!
the yellow plug in the car goes to the left most plug on the bottom left unit with the matching aerial socket on the same unit, that is the power supply plug.
the rest will all interconnect.
the amp (the silver colour item with no buttons on the face is usually hidden up behind the dash and should be a large connector behind the dash with the speaker outputs on it.
the stereo and cd player are then interconnected by the grey ribbon type cables and have no speaker outputs.

hi bud you've got the wrong leads there mate the flat grey lead shud come out the amp then split into two leads one goes to the radio and the other to the cd, the yellow plug in the radio hole is to power the radio, you shud have another plug to power the cd and there shud be another plug back of the glove box to power the amp, the amp shud be mounted on the bulk head back of glove box next to the heater box hope this helps

Something aint right there. You should have a cable that plugs into the amp that has two connectors coming off it. One goes to cd one goes to tape player. There then should be two connectors (power) that plug into each. The Amp sits under the dash on passenger side and should be a mounting plate here. You should find a power plug there and a speaker plug. That should be it.
I have a cable in mine i can check to see if there is a part number on it. Cheers Ian

No it doesn't, that yellow connector is the power feed for the radio, the CD is powered from the grey connector lead from the radio as is the amp.... yes the bunch of wires with the missing connector is for the speakers... simples......this is a road I have been down, it was a very long and expensive but worth it, original is best, IMO

little update, just remembered the CD has its own power feed, a little red connector, this is the hardest of all to source, as for the leads, no sorry I don't have any or a diagram, they do appear on ebay from time to time, this link may contain some useful info and pictures,

it is worth the effort..... all the best
