Hi,a friend trying to find a new oil pressure sender for a 93 Escort Cosworth. It has VDO stamp and a Ford part number on it.Ford dealer could not find it in the system. Can he use any type of VDO oil pressure sender with 0-5 bar? Many types of them on Ebay.uk etc.

I don't think they switches work on an Escos. The Escos switch is different from a 3 door and sapphire switch.
