HELP Tee piece turbo/lektron/actuator
Ok so I'm making a tee piece to reconnect my lektron valve
The tee needs to be jetted compressor side using carb jets and I've be advised to try 1.5mm to start
My question is what effect am I looking for from the jet to know I have the right size?

I've actually been involved in this with my car, someone in the past has removed the genuine t piece and replaced it with a washer jet 4mm t piece, but there is however a solid ally piece that has been placed in the vacuum hose with a 1mm hole inside, mine however is in the pipe from t piece to actuator which I now know is the wrong way around so this could be why the car isn't very quick ?!!, I'm connecting another boost gauge today and I'm going to do a before and after on what boost it runs as is and what it's like after I've swapped it round.

Try making a new tee piece, I'm using carb main jets, I have 3 different sizes, as advised will start with the 1.5mm, at the moment the car needs a set up and has a few minor issues I need to sort before then so just on actuator pressure at the mo.
I'll try ring to find out on Monday and I'll post what I find out

Well I made a jet up myself, used a piece of round rod about 3/4 of an inch long and drilled a 1.5mm hole in the middle, I then pushed it into some 6mm (I.d) silicone hose and connected that to compressor housing using snap ties, then the t-piece with one pipe going to actuator and 1 to electron valve, all is good now and feels pretty rapid compared to what it was like. I did try 1mm first and got boost cut instantly so went up to 1.5 and it worked for me, still won't be thrashing it about until i've fitted an afr gauge.

Hi, any chance you can post a pic up of your pipe work as I'm having probs as well. Where does your t piece go? I have the pipe from the compressor going to the amal valve, and a pipe from amal valve to actuator? Cheers

Well your issue could be adjustment with the turbo if it's been changed, like what strength actuator your now using and what pre load you now have, if running an "Amal valve" (3 piped type) then yes 1 from compressor to amal and one from Amal to actuator, the Amal valve has a letter on each pipe so make sure you have them right, thinks it w for waste gate c for charge and a for atmosphere iirc.
