Sounds more like the oil modine to me. I suppose it is worth a try to remove it and check the results, before writing the head off

as said above the modine oil cooler on the side of the block or head gasket being obvious, or cracked cyliunder head but could be anywhere, and you wont know until you take it off and have it pressure tested unless theres an obvious easy to see crack, anything is fixable though its just the cost

runs a remote filter/ oil cooler so no modine, engine is fresh build having been bored decked longstudded etc etc i no the block as my old engine , so other than a long stud drilling being done wrong cant think of what else it could be with the block, head was supplied by a dealer so i dont no history of it but its had a skim and looked fresh, defo no gasket blow been checked,

this has black oil in header , water system flushed 4 times still puts oil up
oil in engine all milky flushed 4 ++ times

looks like its all gotta come out again!!, just asking if the head could course such a problem??
