Default Wire loom faults again/fuel

Okay I have my loom fitted, just need some info on the fuel pump/ relay.
When I turn my ignition on the pump runs for only atleast half a second.
Now im sure they should run for longer when ignition is on atleast a couple of seconds.?, however when the engine is running the fuel pump is working fine .
I have some issues with it running to lean so wondering if I have a sensor fault or anything. ? im lost with this one tbh lol.

its just priming up, so may have pressure in there already so only needs to prime a small amount

check your voltage on the pump aswell, also regarding lean, when is it running lean? if tick over it may need adjusting the co2 screw on the ecu

I will try the co2 screw tomorrow, fuel pump runs okay on idle. Still lean on tick over, thinking it could be wastegate prob or injectors.? Manifold still glows

manifold glows on tick over?

if its running lean when driving then there is a problem, possibly map sensor, or tps, or it could be a poor map on the chip or injectors could be a number of things

Yes glows on tick over , but this management is on a pinto turbo, can I just remove the map sensor and try that.?
The TPS sensor voltage is okay on idle and full throttle.

no as cossie management works off the map sensor, for fuelling

what chip do you have in it, is it for a pinto turbo or cosworth as you will need a chip for a pinto 8v not a 16v

Well looks like i've found the fault why it was so lean, throttle pot was playing up and my idle valve was stuck .
Now runs without getting the manifold cherry red , ticks over a about 1200rpm about what it did before.

As for the chip I am waiting on one to be made, but the guy has fucked me about, hence why I'm on a std cos chip. Just need my car to run as its Classic Ford next week...

If I adjust the screw on pressure regulator in, does that increase or decrease the fuel>?
