Default esc cos clutch cable

my clutch cable snapped on my esc cos this morning and i was wondering if it is the same as a normal sierra cable or if it just fits the escy cos i could do with getting one tommorow if possible thanks

I think there different, 4x4 and 2wd sierras are different lengths 2 start with.

Mine snapped a few months ago when she was fully laden as I was just off on a weekend away!
Called the AA out and it was pissing down. He could only offer a temporary repair so I called the wife out in our other car and we swapped all the kit over and I let her drive the broken Cossie home!.. Bless.

It seems they only last about ten years then?

The cable snapped on mine too,the 2wd and 4wd ones are different.Get the 4x4 one!
Mine was replaced with a 2wd one about a month before i bought it-500miles later and at a busy roundabout 'SNAP'

Funny thing is Escos with A/C has different clutch cable, at least LHD one.


When not driving around city one can manage without the clutchg but it's pain in the ass when you have to stop often, and not good for turbo.
