I think this is right after the engine went bang (about a year ago) the lad took it away to rebuild it but has now gone for more power and so the engine is no longer a small turbo and development has stopped for now

I Spoke to Wil (the guy supplying the test car) about this just the other day, he's still got some issues with it that he's sorting out. I'm sure he said it should be back to MSD soon to finish the mapping etc. From what he said he's going for 400BHP + now still on the ford ECU.

Hello Lads, sorry it is taking so long, but it just seems to be daft issue after daft issue ... I want to give the car to Stu/MSD 110% perfect so he can just get on with the job and map it, not mess around with silly faults.
The Major problem has been sorted, which was an intermittent starting problem which turned into a complete no start eventually, when the car just refused to fire, and then flood. It has turned out to be a single wire to the EDIS module, was knocking out 2.8v instead of 12v, It took nearly 3 months (and 2 auto sparkys, and finally a genuis called brains!) to find someone I trused to work on the car, and someone who actually knew what they were doing! I was led up SO many blind allys with this problem it was untrue, went from a Clifford problem to immobiliser problem to ECU problem etc etc etc, a it turns out somwhere in the loom there is a slight voltage drop which caused a non starting condition.
Car currently has the head off again , to sort out a low oil pressure at idle (Exhaust cam journal needs sorting out, it has picked up very slightly causing just enough damage after being dressed out to still cause a problem ) , but should be back on agian by Feb the 1st (I fucking hope!)... While it is all apart I have a guy sorting the loom out as I'm fucked if I am tracing and replacing single wire, rarther pay someone to do it , and inspect the rest of it while he is there...
After all that is done I have 2 more small jobs to do, 1) get the fans working again as they don't come on, should be fairly simple, and 2) get the front driveshaft problem sorted, it has a vibration even with new 10mm longer Xr4x4 shafts, I think it may be running too much camber (Neg 2.5 degrees) so will try putting it back to 1.5 Degrees to see if it cures it, if not then a 3rd set of shafts will be the order of the day!
Still, hopefully it will all work out in the long run, and MSD will be able to provide a plug & Play T35.48 350BHP conversion, and maybe more for the Small Turbo car , which will make them much more interesting in the long term ..
It is currently on a UT T38 aiming for 400+, and if it works may even go T4/ GT30 if Stu fancys it ..
I will try and keep you all updated

Top man Wil, it'll be worth it in the end as you'll have a cracking car.
Good on ya for putting your car forward for this development work & not loosing faith after some of the probelms you've mentioned, it'll give all us ST owners a big boost in the BHP department when the conversion is ready. I know where my hard earned money will be going !!
