Wheel decisions re: Bufty escos.
Most of you will have probably seen my car at some point a couple of years ago but i've been doing a little resto again LOL.
Thing is, i've been let down for 6 months now with wheels that will fit over my brakes. I have found a V nice set but in the 19" the offset is only et 30 on a 8.5" rim.
BUT, a 8.5 x 20" has et35 which is ideal as I need to run a 20mm spacer to clear the AP's and get it down to et15
What do you guys think about 20's on an escos bearing in mind it is a road car not a track car! So no, "it'll be shite, you should get some 18" Mo's" Mr. Rainbum
muchos grassy arse.

scott why not, just get a set of 18" for when you want a blast and 20" for concours. I was going to put 20" on mine last year but decided to go for more power and better road holding ect and some nice fat 245 tyres

scott what if you got your discs set back in like mine as that will give you an extra 7 mm from the caliper face to the rim that might free you up some more on 19" rims ? as this is what i found

Reality is 18's are too big but, bet Escos's are much better on 17's and you can still fit 355 6pots. But.. in terms of looks thats a personal thing..
18's are optimum in regards to looks to performance ratio... 19's at a push.. 20's! thats just pimp my ride

One thing for sure scott is you'll be the only one!!!
Depends on the style really, if its a dished style, then it wont look a 20", more like 19", where as a flat spoke to the edge will probably look bigger than 20's!!LOL
I'd go 19's Max if it was mine, but you could get some spare 18's and have best of both!

I wish he'd hurry up and get some wheels, I can't stand his pet lip anymore I seriously don't think he could take another let down lol, he's getting very touchy about the whole wheel situation
