I just had to solder a small wire on the back of the clocks.

Are you having it done at MSD?

true, but it still wont drive a factory dizzy rev counter

the problem is the factory rev counters use the back emf from the coil field colapsing to give a spike.

most other cars rev counters dont use this method anymore and as such would work with a std aftermarket ecu tacho drive output....

If you're going to use EDIS this has a standard tacho output that you can use to drive the original rev counter. Is it pin 11?

You have to use this technique to get S1 & 2 turbos to read correctly after they have been convrted to coil packs on EFi.

As I said it was secondhand, do you want a picture posted? No need to get funny, it was a reasonable question, you don't exactly make me want to spend my money for other things from you with an attitude like that. Thats great customer service and paints a great picture of how you deal with people!

WTF?!

Sorry, please tell me where you said it was second hand? I was not being funny, most Cosworth Tuners in the world sell My WS kits new so i presumed you would have got one from one of those. I think its you who has the attitude pal.

Sorry if thats the case, I've just had a run recently of companies service being well below par, being in the service industry I know how inportant it is. I don't know if its the recession but company standards seem to have dropped and guess I'm a bit sensative to it.

What do you mean "IF" thats the case?
Fact is, you jumped on me saying you told me it was a used one when in fact you DID NOT say that at all so my reply was 100% accurate and valid to your statement.

Maybe the companies you have dealt with recently are responding to your own manner in a similar fashion? I know you have certainly made me wonder why i bothered trying to help you for free in my lunch break.

I know, I'm sorry, I said sorry. Found out today my dad has been made redundant, and my God mother been given days to live. I'm in a strange place right now, I should be focusing on them now instead. Sorry

to be fair though - you never said above that it was second hand - and ive never heard of a kit being fitted that is 2nd hand as to remove one form a car that is already fitted withone really would be pointless.

and how did you convert it - did you just put a coilpack in place - or did you use a MSD kit - you need to be clearer m8 before coming back with attitude to one of the most helpfull guys on here.

I know that, covered that. It's second hand but was never fitted to his car and now surplace. Just forget it, got more important things to worry about. It's all in perspective now, have a good day all.
