hi, are they not part of the rear light cluster!!!!!!! i know before you say it they are detachable !!!, but sold with clusters----------im sure

theres two types mate as well so look at yours or take one with you.i had to go back to my mate to find out as i thought all mk5 were the same

1666475 is the correct number. They are not sided.

Aaroncast the cheap aftermarket lights come with the gasket attached, gen ford are separate

Right today i have got two of these with the above part no, but these are the wrong ones.

Has anybody got any idea of the other part number? If it helps i will take a pic of the new gasket against the old one to show the difference.

Why cant things just be easy

On the micro listing its showing 2 types dont no why

1, 6178920 build date 1990-1992
2, 1666475 build date 1992-1995

Well mine is a 93 so that is strange as it shows i have the correct part.

Also to me all the lights look the same from the rear on all the Escos'. there must be something different on the inside or summat.

Nope. Cossies have 1990-1992 lights, they did not change in 1993.

Therefore, 6178920 is the correct finis.

(1993 onwards models had fog lights in the tailgate on all versions except Cossie)

its not down to that.the actual metal frame where the lights go in has different layout or locatin poles going by the two different sets i had to buy for my mates.

rs bowk,it could be that it was an earlier build mate
