IIRC it would also depend on the year of your car, depending on whether yours has airbags and side impact beams.
I would be almost tempted to try Ford UKs customer services number. They can be surprisingly useful and whilist they might not have them they may be able to tell you where you can get them from.
Just a thought...

The car is a 1992/3 big turbo non airbag, but i have been told it has side impact bars in the doors, does anybody have any pics of these because i am not sure what they look like. If i had a pic i would take off my door trim and check. i will try that mob you talked about do you have an e mail address for them, or a phone number.

Hello Mate
I would speak directly to Ford as well.
I would doubt whether the Escort Cossie was ever crash tested, being a limited production they probably didn't bother.
I wouldn't think it would do too good either, as it was designed and built as a rally car, it is a very stiff shell, not to good for crash testing. I've spent a lot of time in my engine bay and I haven't spotted a crumple zone yet
Cheers
