Should I be able to remove the front hub from the carrier??

When I was taking the Mo's off the car, The rim had become stuck to the hub (obviously not enough copper grease!!) and when pulling the front hub started to move free of the carrier.

Is this the norm? Or are my hubs fucked!

had you taken the nut of the driveshaft before the hub moved? if not you need to take it apart and inspect it as it might only be the bearing but could be the hub or carrier

if you yhaven't pu the hub nut on they will move fairly easily

but they won't come out
they just fuck up the bearings as they split when you pull them and then you can't get them seated properly again
